Every thing
makes a bed
and lies
down.

I clomp off
into the woods
in resignation.

Trudge into
forget it.

It’s where
part of me
goes
to die
in private.

Someone’s thrown
a shitty party
in my clearing.

Used a bird’s nest
as an ashtray.
Fuck-chain of daisies.
